FORYOU MEDICAL Brings the Latest Collagen Dressing to FIME 2023 in Miami

The 2023 Florida International Medical Expo(FIME), organized by Informa Markets, was successfully held and concluded from June 21-23 local time at the Miami Beach Convention Center. FIME is the Americas' leading medical trade fair and exhibition, gathering thousands of medical device and equipment manufacturers and suppliers, dealers, distributors and other healthcare professionals from across the United States, Central and South America and the Caribbean. According to the official statement, this exhibition will bring over 12000 trade professionals from over 110 countries around the world to join in connecting and trading with the healthcare community. 

FORYOU MEDICAL brought new products such as LUOFUCON® Collagen Dressing, LUOFUCON® Extra Silver Gelling Fiber Dressing, LUOFUCON® Silver Wound Gel to the exhibition, and demonstrated our R&D and innovation achievements to customers in the Americas at booth S93.

LUOFUCON® Collagen Dressing, which has attracted a lot of attention on site. A porous matrix of cross-linked bovine collagen makes up LUOFUCON® Collagen Wound Dressing. The LUOFUCON® Collagen Wound Dressing is a sterile, single-use wound dressing that is white or off-white, malleable, absorbent, and biodegradable. When the wound dressing absorbs wound exudate or sterile water, LUOFUCON® Collagen Wound Dressing transforms into a soft, conformable gel sheet, maintains a moist wound environment, to protect the wound and support natural healing. LUOFUCON® Collagen Wound Dressing may be applied directly to the wound as a primary dressing or may be used in conjunction with other acceptable secondary dressings. The dressing may be used in numerous layers and can be precisely trimmed to fit the size of the wound. LUOFUCON® Collagen Wound Dressing is intended for the management of wounds including full thickness and partial thickness wounds, pressure ulcers, venous ulcers, ulcers caused by mixed vascular etiologies, diabetic ulcers, partial thickness burns, donor sites and other bleeding surface wounds, abrasions, traumatic wounds healing by secondary intention, dehisced surgical incisions.

LUOFUCON® PHMB Alginate Dressing  with patented technology is also a product that has been consulted frequently on site. It is a sterile, single-use dressing consisting of calcium alginate fiber treated with polyhexamethylene biguanide (PHMB)，which is a brand new advanced wound care product. It solves the passivated problem of chemical reaction between alginate and PHMB, which provides safe and good 7-day antimicrobial activities for infected wounds. This dressing not only has alginate property of providing moist wound environment, but also offers PHMB advantage of highly effective safety. Unlike regular impregnated manufacturing method of the other PHMB wound dressings, LUOFUCON® PHMB Antibacterial Alginate Dressing achieves that a lower content of PHMB has sustained broad-spectrum antibacterial effect by using state-of-the-art technology to bond PHMB onto alginate fibers at the very beginning. Bacteria and moisture are well managed in the dressing. It protects against the development of wound infection by decreasing the bioburden in the dressing and bacterial penetration through the dressing.
