Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose(CMC-Na)

Mechanism

The gauze is soluble in water and absorbs the swelling of the water in the blood and forms a gel. By increasing the adhesion of platelets and accelerating the aggregation of red blood cells, the thrombus is rapidly formed, attached to the bleeding wound, blocking the small blood vessels and capillaries, and achieving the purpose of hemostasis, which is effective in 10 seconds and can be effectively prevented adhesion.

By forming gelatin, SUNTOUCH® Soluble Hemostatic Gauze increasing platelet adhesion and accelerating the aggregation of red blood cells, the thrombus can be rapidly formed to achieve the purpose of auxiliary hemostasis.Because this product has the characteristics of fast gel and dissolution, and its unique adhesion to tissue, the hemostatic effect is more significant.

SUNTOUCH® Soluble Hemostatic Gauze is developed, produced and sold by FORYOU MEDICAL. It uses natural cellulose as the main raw material, by using innovative technology and special production equipment to modify cellulose fiber, so that the carboxymethyl modified gauze has good water solubility. It can effectively prevent bleeding in the operation process, protect the wound and prevent adhesion.

 

SUNTOUCH® Soluble Hemostatic Gauze are made with special knitting methods,which made it has good compliance and is suitable for all kinds of wounds. It is easy to cover, pack and fill bleeding wounds. After forming the gel, the SUNTOUCH® Soluble Hemostatic Gauze still has certain physical strength to facilitate adjustment. Moreover, the transparent gel formed by SUNTOUCH® Soluble Hemostatic Gauze does not cover the surgical field of vision, and is convenient for observation and further operation.

Indications

Contraindications

SUNTOUCH® Soluble Hemostatic Gauze can be used in the control of disseminated hemorrhage, capillary and small vessels hemorrhage when ligation, electrical coagulation or other conventional methods are impractical or ineffective. It is indicated to control the vaginal and cervical hemorrhage, nasal and sinus mucosal bleeding, dental surgery bleeding (tooth extraction, dental implantology surgery, parodontology surgery (dental and gum surgery)) and topical bleeding of injured body surface.

SUNTOUCH® Soluble Hemostatic Gauze should not be used for large area of wound hemostasis and hemorrhage of large arteries.
Use of this product is not recommended for patients with allergy to sodium carboxymethyl cellulose(CMC-Na).

Directions

Open package and take out the gauze.
 

Cover with chean dressing or bandage to maintain pressure.
Seek medical professional help if necessary.

Place the gauze on wound surface and apply firm pressure directly over the wound until bleeding stops.Multiple gauze layers may be needed.
