It mainly consists of hydrophilic polyurethane foam substrate and silver compound. It is indicated for the management of moderately or heavily exudate chronic and acute wounds owing to bacterial infection.

The silver of the dressing is nesting in the PVA coating film in compound state, when the silver compound contacts the exudate, they will be ionized, thereby to kill bacteria.

The release of silver ions depends on the surface area of the wound, exudate concentration and temperature.

Indications

LUOFUCON^® Silver PU Antibacterial Foam Dressing is indicated for exudate absorption and the management of partial to full thickness wounds, including leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, second-degree burns, donor sites, post-operative wounds and skin abrasions.



 

Contraindications

Do not use LUOFUCON^® Silver PU Antibacterial Foam Dressing on patients with known sensitivity to silver.
