SUNTOUCH^® Trauma Gauze is a sterilized, soft and silk gauze made from 100% nature plant, which is mainly composed of carboxymethyl cellulose sodium. It has the characteristics of rapid hemostasis, reduction of secondary damage, safety and non-toxic, no irritation and flexibility.

Indications

SUNTOUCH^® Trauma Gauze is a  trauma first aid product, it can be used for hemostasis of body surface wounds and war wounds, such as:

• Hemostasis for orthopedics wound, muscle wound and peeling wound during surgical operation.
• Hemostasis for battle wounds or traumatic wounds, such as acute epistaxis, abrasion and laceration, etc.
• Rapid hemostasis, significantly reduced bleeding, prevention of clotting disease, effective for heparin or coagulation disorders.

Contraindications

• This product is prohibited in patients with hypersensitivity to CMC-Na.
• This Product does not apply to patients with severe coagulation disorder.

Directions

• Remove the foreign substance and blood of the wound, cover the bleeding wound with a proper amount of SUNTOUCH^® Trauma Gauze, and then apply the sterilized dressing or bandage with proper pressure. It also can be used for packing hemostasis.
• In the operation, one layer or double layer SUNTOUCH^® Trauma Gauze can be used to cover the bleeding wound, such as the injured by body surface, and then pressure helps to stop bleeding. After hemostasis, redundant gauze should be removed to reduce the tissue reaction.

We suggest that a number of high-risk workplaces or places for first aid would prepare some SUNTOUCH^® Trauma Gauze，once needed, it can be used immediately, such as：construction site、oil and coal mining sites、first aid centre、emergency department of the general hospital  and battlefield hospital.
