Glycolide（GA）

A biodegradable material whose molecular formula is C4H4O4. As a polymeric monomer, Glycolide can be polymerized for polyglycolide, also can be copolymerized with other ring monomers to obtain random copolymers or block copolymers. As a biodegradable polymer material, they play an important role in the research and development of medical polymer materials. In surgical suture and artificial skin and vascular, skeletal fixation and repair, drug controlled release, tissue engineering and many other fields have been applied.
