Mechanism of product

Silicone Tension Reducer has a high tensile strength.  When vertically adhered to the wound：
Applies a continuous and uniform pulling force, effectively reducing the tension of the surrounding skin.
Avoid the uneven tension on the skin around the incision caused by suture traction, there by preventing the wound from splitting.

Unique silicone contact design

Silicone contact layer, gently adheres to the wound, reduces skin irritation and discomfort, and can prevent secondary damage to the wound when removing the tape.

Flexible application 

Close superficial wounds and low-tension surgical incisions toreduce the risk of skin damage caused by sutures.
Pull and fix the wound after suture to avoid uneven force onthe skin around the wound and reduce discomfort caused byexternal force.
Pull and fix the wound after removal of sutures, prevent wound dehiscence and reduce skin tension to avoid abnormal hyperplasia of scar.

Intended Purpose

Silicone Tension Reducer is indicated for use as a skin tension reducer in the treatment of superficial wounds and surgical incisions. Silicone Tension Reducer may also be used in conjunction with skin sutures and staples or after their removal for wound support.
