Trimethylene Carbonate (TMC)

TMC is a kind of monomer which used for the preparation of absorbable polymer, such as PTMC, PLATMC and so on. PTMC has good biocompatibility and biodegradability. At body temperature, it has a certain elasticity in the state of rubber. It is widely used for degrading and binding ligature devices, drug release control materials, implanted materials and support materials in the body. It can be copolymerized with poly (lactic acid) and other polyester to improve the properties of the polymer.
