Foryou Medical Participates in the Development of a Pharmaceutical Industry Standard

On March 9, 2026, the National Medical Products Administration issued the pharmaceutical industry standard YY/T 1293.3-2026, Contacting wound dressing—Part 3:Carboxymethylcellulose sodium dressing. According to information published on the National Public Service Platform for Standards Information, the standard will officially come into effect on March 1, 2027. It was proposed by the National Medical Products Administration and is under the jurisdiction of the National Standardization Working Group for Medical Protective Equipment (SAC/SWG 30).

As a pharmaceutical industry standard, YY/T 1293.3-2026 applies to contact wound dressings in which sodium carboxymethylcellulose (CMC-Na) fibers are the primary component. It specifies performance requirements and corresponding test methods for these dressings. The standard was co-authored by national testing and inspection agencies alongside several medical device companies, with Huizhou Foryou Medical Devices Co., Ltd. playing a key role in its drafting and development.
